Missouri State University is accepting applications for a Registrar – West Plains for Registration and Records. The West Plains Campus is a public, open admissions, two-year campus within the Missouri State University system. The campus offers Associate degrees and hosts Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs from the Missouri State University system. It is independently accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Student enrollment is approximately 1,800.
Responsible for the administration of the University’s Registration and Records Office; ensuring that the activities of the office support the goals of Missouri State University-West Plains; overseeing the processing of student registration, including drops, adds, audits, pass/fail, grading, assessment of fees, and storage and maintenance of student academic records; reviewing degree programs; determining the eligibility for graduation of all students; cooperating with the offices of Academic Affairs and University Communications in the production of the Missouri State University-West Plains catalog and class schedules; working closely with faculty and administrators; and ensuring compliance with established University policies and guidelines regarding records, enrollment and classification of students.
Bachelor’s degree is required. A Master’s degree is preferred. Additional requirements include three years of supervisory experience in a higher education staff position or five years of supervisory experience in a secondary school staff position; management and supervisory experience; familiarity with computer-based registration and scheduling systems; keyboarding and data entry skills; excellent interpersonal skills; strong oral and written communication skills; significant data entry work; some weekend and evening work and occasional travel associated with extended campus registration sessions and professional development opportunities. Work experience in a university registration and records office in a supervisory capacity is preferred. Pay Grade: 44. Salary: $33,000-$45,000/annually.

Position: Admissions Coordinator at Metropolitan Community College- Maple Woods, Kansas City MO
Position Summary: Full-time staff position responsible for independently increasing the image and visibility of the college in the community, providing individualized student information programs and activities to promote enrollment in district colleges, working specifically to inform high school, GED, and reverse transfer students of educational opportunities at the district.
Minimal Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and two (2) years full-time work experience in related area such as recruitment, admissions or marketing, preferably in an educational setting.

Position: Director of Enrollment Management
The Director of Enrollment Management is a highly visible representative of the University who will lead efforts to recruit undergraduate and transfer students to the Baldwin City Campus and the School of Nursing. In the long-term, the person in this position will also coordinate efforts to recruit students to other Baker programs including the Graduate School of Education, the School of Professional and Graduate Studies, and the Master of Liberal Arts Program. The Director will serve as the principle communicator to students and parents both on an everyday basis and on special visit days and supervise all members of the admission staff. The Director helps enact a vision for both the strategic and conceptual elements of recruiting (e.g., timing and formats for communication to potential students) and the logistical elements in realizing this vision (college fair visits, high school visits, etc.).
Requirements: Demonstrated professional success in and an in-depth understanding of the admission and/or financial aid fields for students in both traditional and non-traditional programs. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate to colleagues, college students and parents. Good personnel management skills. Ability to engage an audience while describing the advantages of higher education and Baker University. Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred. Knowledge of Marketing Techniques, Social Networking, and Media formats is preferred. Prior experience in designing, managing and using a database system is preferred. The Division of Enrollment Management invites applications for two energetic, highly motivated, admissions professionals to assist in process of recruiting and selecting new students for the University. The two positions include a 12 month position and a 10 month position (August through May).

Due to the nature of this position, evening and weekend work can be expected throughout the year, especially during the fall and spring. Candidates should also be prepared to travel overnight based upon the geographic territory assigned and must possess a valid US driver’s license. While the majority of the work is done sitting or standing, the ability to lift boxes weighing up to 40 pounds is also necessary. Candidates may need to access Non-ADA compliant buildings.
