B. E-Transcripts – From a Diamond in the Rough to A Registrar's Best Friend

Share the journey and progress the University of Missouri System and Metropolitan Community College have made toward the implementation of e-transcripts, from developing partnerships to writing code and testing. Two types of delivery methods will be presented: XML transcript data delivery to partner institutions, and the use of third party vendors, such as the National Student Clearinghouse, who provide secure pdf versions of transcripts to both institutions and outside agencies. Receive pratical tools, such as a start-up checklist and an institutional savings calculator. Learn the technical nuts and bolts of implementation (including the challenges), the accomplishments to this point, and future plans.

A. College Scheduler: Schedule planner Helps Students Create Perfect Class Schedules Each Semester!

Web-based schedule planner for use by students creating schedules each semester. Our institutions experience increased enollment credit hours, faster speed to graduation and time savings in academic advising! Students simply select courses they wish to take for the upcoming semester as well as times they do not wish to take class. Instantly, multiple pre-made schedules are generated that the student can view and then register for in Banner, Datatel or Peoplesoft.

B. Refund Appeals and You: How to Make the Process Equitable

How does a large university implement a refund policy system that seems fair to all? D. goMizzou: A Home-Grown Hand-Held App

GoMizzou is a mobile application that brings the University of Missouri's information to handheld devices. The application operates on iPhones, iPads, iPod Touches and Android OS powered smart phones and tablets. During the session we will discuss the funding, design, development and implementation of goMizzou. The session will also include a demonstration of goMizzou's capabilities and will outline future development plans of goMizzou.

A. Intercultural Conflict Style - Part 2

This session builds on the awareness and knowledge from part one. Participants will gain in-depth information about their own approach for resolving conflict across cultures. In addition, participants learn about the four cross-cultural conflict styles assessed by the ICS Inventory, strengths and weaknesses of each intercultural conflict style, and how their own conflict style compares to the conflict style of other cultural communities.

D. CRM Experiences: Two Schools' Perspectives

Hear two schools present their involvement with Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) Software. B. Growing Enrollment Through Consolidating Admissions Operations

Southeast Missouri State University began the process of consolidating all undergraduate and graduate admissions operations into one office in 2009. This affected international, graduate and returning student admissions and off-campus programs. this session will discuss the role of automated processes, letter databases, training, staffing, scanning and written procedures in successfully consolidating these admissions functions.
