C. Banner Reporting Techniques: One School 's Approach (Escolla)

Banner is aLIVE and well in the State of Missouri . Now that you have data flowing into the system, how are you managing the data flow out of the system? This session will demonstrate the SCT Banner reporting strategies developed by Southeast Missouri State University in its first year on the system. The presentation will include both technical and non-technical (user side) reporting information. Those responsible for developing or interpreting reports using Banner data will benefit from the session. Please come prepared to share your institution's experience with Banner reporting - and bring handouts if possible!

Competition from other countries and adverse U.S. immigration and visa regulations have changed the international recruitment landscape and increased the pressure on those who are responsible for meeting international student enrollment targets.  How does an institution develop a strategy?  What are the key issues and questions to consider?  In this environment where we are continually being asked to do more with less, see how two institutions have created international recruitment strategies to fit their institution's mission and budget.

D. ACT: Crisis at the Core

Many high school graduates do not have the skills they need to succeed in college-level coursework or workforce training. Our report, “Crisis at the Core: Preparing All Students for College and Work”, shows that only 22% of the 1.2 million ACT-tested 2004 high school graduates meet all three of the ACT College Readiness Benchmarks in English, math, and science. What implications does this report have for Missouri and what can educational communities do to put their students on course for success?

C. Identifying and Retaining At-Risk Students: The HSSU Example
