Job Description
The Registration and Records Office has an immediate opening for an Assistant Registrar who will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities as they relate to customer service, overseeing the office phone queue, the general office email account, registration processing, NSC transcript processing and enrollment reporting, certifications, deferments, refund petitions, and Perceptive Content workflows for form processing. This position is responsible for maintaining the Secure Document Uploader which is the tool used by students, faculty, and staff to upload forms to the Registration and Records Office for processing and Perceptive Content which is the Universities document imaging system.

Additionally, the Assistant Registrar will have responsibilities for processing batch enrollments, conducting system testing for various software maintained by the office such as PeopleSoft, Perceptive Content, and Schedule Planner. The Assistant Registrar will manage two staff members process forms that include but are not limited to add/drop, grade changes, and GPA adjustments.

The Assistant Registrar works closely with the leadership team in the Registration and Records Office to troubleshoot and problem solve complex issues. This position works closely with faculty, staff in the various Academic Units to train and provide information related to registration deadlines, FERPA, business processes in place to enforce policies outlined in the University Catalog. This position will also serve on University committees as related to job responsibilities. Other duties assigned based on office needs.

Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 4 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications
Four to five years of experience in admissions, registration, academic advising, or related area is necessary and at least one year of supervisory experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills
A Master’s degree in student college personnel or higher education administration is preferred.
Experience with PeopleSoft (Campus Solutions)/Perceptive Content or any related imaging tool.
