The Office of the Registrar plays a vital role in creating procedures and processes that promote student enrollment, completion and graduation. The office also creates and promotes data information systems that inform decision making at the University. The Business Process and Reporting Analyst provides technical leadership and support in the development, implementation and enhancement of the related business processes. This individual will manage several aspects of the student records management system, train campus personnel to effectively use the systems to serve students and encourage the creation and use of data to inform decision making.
Responsibilities
• Manage the master catalog and semester schedule of courses
• Coordinate and facilitate training for the use of student record-related business systems and processes (i.e. registration, grading, wait lists, document storage, scheduling software)
• Provide oversight and management for use of the Banner Document Management (BDM) and EMS Software systems, including end user training, security management, and data integrity
• Serve as the campus liaison to the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) by managing the reporting processes and making the campus aware of opportunities to use NSC data
• Maintain current knowledge of Degree Works and support system maintenance (i.e. scribing, security, testing)
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree
• General knowledge of higher education
• General knowledge of master catalog and master schedule processes within higher education
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with frequent interruptions
• Experience in evaluation, implementation, and functional use of technology systems and products to meet departmental functions
• Evidence of strong project management skills, detail orientation, and customer service focus
• Demonstrated ability to teach/facilitate training programs
• Computer literacy, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as a team player
• Willingness and ability to recognize and solve problems
