The transfer center is looking to fill the Senior Enrollment Advisor. And through a discussion with Cecilia, she mentioned that you can help us post this position to AACRAO. Job Description
Undergraduate Studies is accepting applications for a Senior Enrollment Advisor to join a dedicated and passionate team of professionals in the Transfer Center to assist undergraduate students in their transfer journey to Mizzou.
The Senior Enrollment Advisor assists prospective transfer students with navigating the admission and onboarding process into Mizzou. Additionally, the Senior Enrollment Advisor collaborates with campus stakeholders to support transfer student recruitment.
The ideal candidate should understand admission and enrollment policies to provide the best support possible to potential students and their families, have strong customer service and communication skills, and possess a keen attention to details.

The Senior Enrollment Advisor will serve as a resource to prospective transfer students and will report to the Director of the Transfer Center. Tasks and duties include, but are not limited to:
• Meeting with and responding to transfer students' inquiries and questions regarding the admissions process, scholarships, and transfer credits.
• Maintain knowledge of transfer admission requirements, course equivalencies, and other requirements and regulations at the University of Missouri.
• Collaborate with Admissions, Enrollment Management, Undergraduate Studies, Student Affairs, and academic units to establish and implement recruitment and admissions initiatives to support transfer students.
• Provide transfer overview presentations to prospective students and families.
• Manage the Missouri Reverse Transfer communication process with eligible students and serve as a point of contact for the Missouri community college counterparts.
• Review the articulation equivalencies with the Transfer Center director and transfer credit evaluators to ensure regular updating of course information.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Interest and ability to learn recruitment, admissions, and student information platforms to assist students in navigating the transfer process.
• Ability to effectively communicate and connect with students in multiple modalities and platforms.
• Attention to detail and ability to master and synthesize complex information to best inform and guide students and their families.
• Ability to work independently and maintain relationships with the Transfer Center team, campus stakeholders, and other higher education partners.

Skills You Will Learn
• Technology: The Senior Enrollment Advisor will use multiple platforms, including the student information system, Transferology Lab, Slate, and degree audits, for recruitment communication, events, queries, material requests, and other needs.
• Transfer Admission Requirements: The Senior Enrollment Advisor will need to navigate and learn general and departmental admission requirements to assist students with transfer admission-related questions.
• Transfer Student Experience: The Senior Enrollment Advisor will learn about the challenges and opportunities transfer students encounter during the recruitment and onboarding process and help ensure students have a seamless transition into the university.
Shift
40 hours/week; M-F - evenings and weekends as required.
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience working with transfer and first-generation students is preferred.
Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary Range: $17.96 - $23.80/hour
