Job Summary:
Under the leadership of the Associate Vice President, Admissions and Marketing, the Director of Recruitment – Day will research, cultivate, identify, and implement strategic recruiting practices for traditional student population enrollment. Supervise & manage a recruitment team. The primary markets for these recruiters are in Missouri and are focused on our traditional day location. Manage and recruit a small territory. Provide quality assurance of recruitment practices for the entire college, including enrollment targets, lead generation, relationship development, prospective student outreach and communication, and marketing efforts within all available recruitment venues.

Ensure the coordination of resources for project execution and communicate across functional teams, departments, and divisions to ensure that all projects are delivered on time and within scope and budget.

Essential Functions:
Perform job duties according to Columbia College’s vision, mission, and values and contribute to the Admissions Department's development.
Accurately represent all venues of Columbia College – demonstrating a professional, positive, “One CC” mindset & attitude in all customer & co-worker interactions
Lead the development and implementation of recruiting strategies for admissions goals set by the VP of Enrollment Management & Marketing and the AVP of Admissions and Marketing. Identify specific methods with knowledge of national standards and best practices related to events, activities, planning, technology, marketing, social networking, etc.
Manage recruitment activities in a way that represents Columbia College positively and responsibly, promoting diversity within recruiting efforts.
Supervise & provide direction, feedback, and accountability for recruiters and their recruitment efforts.
Manage team travel, maintaining fiscal responsibility for recruiters & recruitment efforts – constantly being a responsible steward for Columbia College finances
Work collaboratively with all departments and locations in communicating & coordinating recruitment efforts.
Synonymously represents all venues of Columbia College – demonstrating a “One CC” mindset in all constituent interactions
Work closely with the other recruitment teams to provide cross-support.
Partner with leadership in developing and monitoring the college’s prospective student communication plan, using multi-channel communications that align with set targets according to demographic programs of interest, region, etc.
Utilize the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to properly track prospective students, recruiting activities, and communications.
Ensure accurate and meaningful reporting. Entering, maintaining & verifying “clean” data to keep the systems records safe, clean & useful
Develop, analyze, and disseminate thorough reports, tracking the progress and status of regional recruitment efforts
Serve as a member of institutional steering committees as assigned/needed.
Other duties as needed.
Supervisory Responsibility: Admissions Recruiters
The position reports to the Associate Vice President of Admissions and Marketing.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
3-5 years of relevant higher education experience
Significant experience with student-athlete population
Supervisory/management & leadership experience
Knowledge of recruitment and admissions practices within a higher education setting.
Experience with setting and meeting enrollment goals or comparative sales goals.
Knowledge and experience with training others in a professional setting
Experience working with diverse populations among students, community constituents, staff, and faculty.
Experience in higher education, specifically adult/non-traditional student recruitment
Experience with database management systems, such as Excel, Colleague, Salesforce/TargetX and, OnBase, etc.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills.
Detail-oriented and task-driven, able to multitask, set priorities, and manage time effectively.
Ability to work many evening and weekend hours.
High stress tolerance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree
Sales experience and knowledge of marketing principles.
Understanding and experience with recruiting military student population

Valid US State Driver's License (MO or regional territory as assigned).
Must meet and maintain requirements as an approved driver for Columbia College.
Overnight and out-of-state travel required.
