Dear MACRAO Members,

Welcome to October!  As the leaves begin to change and the days grow shorter, it is time to start thinking about the annual conference.

First, I hope that you all have had a smooth start to your fall semesters and are ready to join as at The Lake of the Ozarks for this year’s conference to reconnect with colleagues from around the State of Missouri who are all working hard address the changing landscape we are all facing within higher education.

The MACRAO Board has been an amazing team that has been meeting to bring our membership an educational and memorable conference.   The theme for the conference is “Out of this World” and we truly hope you leave the conference with great ideas that will help in transforming your teams and campuses to all be “Out of this World!”

As you will see by the At-A-Glance Agenda, there are two FREE pre-conference workshops that will feature how to manage your Digital Footprint in Social Media as well as Core 42 Updates by MDHE.  The keynote speaker for the conference is Alex Demczak who will provide messing around maximizing your potential to make a difference with the students, staff and faculty you interact with on a daily basis.  In addition to these great parts of the conference, we have top-notch presentations lined up that will touch on all of the important topics in admissions, registrar and enrollment management.

On behalf of the MACRAO Board, I look forward to seeing you in a few weeks as we kick off 83 years together with our MACRAO Family.
